In a Super-Hero Roleplaying Game (SHRPG), as in other RPGs, players take on the persona of a character. In a SHRPG however, the characters are generally super-powered heroes in a world very much like the Comics. (Batman, Superman, The X-Men, Spiderman, et. al.) It is one of the more popular Role-Playing genres.
