Jaguar 64

Emulation is running a game from another platform on your PC. A software program is written to copy (emulate) the environment of a console, classic computer, or arcade game. In this environment, the ROM images of games can be played from the hard drive of the PC using the emulator software.

The Jaguar is the final console from Atari. It's a 64 bit game system whose rights have been released to the public domain (Atari is now history). It's perfectly legal for developers and/or hobbyists to create games for the Jaguar and use emulators to run them.

Though a number of Jaguar ROMs are available, there are currently no working emulators that will run them.
